The Serpent

Minimum System Requirements:
* 16-bit DOS machine with BIOS support or higher
* 1720 KB of RAM
Additional Requirements:
* Basic Spanish knowledge for in-game instructions that otherwise you can see here.
* A friend who is unmistakably as bored as you.
Game Objectives:
Control an ASCII-based serpent over the DOS screen, avoid asterisks and other obstacles. Grow into an anaconda or meet a horrible death by collision – you decide! Text-based action for several!
Keys:
GREEN SNAKE (PLAYER 1)
Left: A
Down: S
Right: D
Up: W
RED SNAKE (PLAYER 2)
Left: K
Down: L
Right: ‘:’ or ‘ (for latin keyboards)
Up: O
Known bugs:
* A player can choose to never move.
* If you press Y (as for yes) to play again, the game will close. If you press N (as for no), you’ll play again (bug fixed on latest version).
* If the snakes collide with each other, PLAYER 1 wins (severe bug).
Hints and Tips:
* Stay idle and wait for your opponent to move first.
* Remain idle and watch your opponent’s snake grow to death.
