Turtle Tetris

When Brain Dead Studios originally got a hold of this game the tetrominoes moved so slow that they made the whole game virtually unplayable. We changed the name to Turtle Tetris in order to better emphasize the game’s peculiar gameplay feature – a tetrominoe moving as slow as a turtle. Elioncho claims that he was able to start the game, go to the kitchen, harvest coffee from his backyard, grind the beans into coffee powder, prepare the coffee, drink it while having a lengthy conversation with his friend Anwar, and be back at his desk just in time to see the tetrominoe moving just for a second time! At this pace, the original game required more than 24 hours of gameplay in order to complete a single round. Totally unacceptable for Brain Dead Studios standards. But this is no longer an issue right now. We have the patched version just for you. We were unable to take screenshots due to technical difficulties (Microsoft Paint doesn’t open). Enjoy it and give us your feedback.

Minimum System Requirements:

* 16-bit DOS machine with BIOS support or higher
* 700 KB of RAM

Additional Requirements:

* Keyboard needs to be plugged into mainframe
* Player eyesight must function

Game Objectives:

The same objectives as the original Tetris. If you don’t know these, I feel sorry for your childhood

Keys:

* a: Move left tetrominoe
* d: Move right tetrominoe
* s: Move down tetrominoe
* spacebar: Rotate tetrominoe
* q: Quit the game

Known bugs:

* You can’t quit the game by pressing the ‘q’ key from the main screen. If you try to do so you will get a “tecla invalida!” message, which means “invalid key!”. So, in order to quit the game, you have to be playing a tetris game.
* If you minimize the game, and then restore it, the currently moving tetrominoe will start moving at a higher speed than when the game was minimized.

Hints and Tips:
